Greetings from Singapore
« on: May 21, 2016, 07:34:37 AM »
Firstly, let me say a bit thank you for the great and plentiful advice members of this forum have been selflessly providing. It has been invaluable for my home roaster selection.

So, Huky 500T, SN 1030 is now almost fully assembled in downtown Singapore and soon will be roasting inside a beautiful shophouse.

I would like to call out fellow Singapore-based roasters for tips on their green bean suppliers (not easy) and also tips on possible solutions/suppliers for the venting hose.

Will be in touch soon w first experiences and ...profiles.

cheers
Nikos

Welcome here !

And don't hesitate to share your experience, always interesting !

You're talking about a shop ? You'll be roasting for comercial sell ? Maybe your coffee shop ? Or maybe I misunderstood the word "shophouse" :)

Hello!
No shop, don't want to get too presumptuous.
Shophouse is a type of conservation house here in Singapore (used to be shops on ground floor , hence the name). Far and few between these days, but makes a lovely backdrop for the Huky.
On another note, while I got a great vent, the supply of green beans to home roasters is extremely problematic in this country  :-\

Cool!

Probably you know we in the US have no idea what a Shophouse is. Would be great to see a photo of it.  ;D
