gauge tip help
« on: May 24, 2016, 01:07:12 PM »
I would like to tip the pressure gauge from pointing up to pointing sideways, at me.  But being mechanically challenged, I can't figure out which nut to loosen in which direction and how to do it without breaking something.  Can anybody help?

The chrome nut which sits on the side of the stove itself is held in place with a corresponding nut on the inside. I'd try to loosen that inside nut and then try to carefully twist the gague (i.e the chrome nut) forward a bit. Just check so that you don't twist the attached gas pipe on the inside. What I'm trying to say is that you need to pay attention to the inside of the burner.
Now, dare I roast even lighter?

It's going to hit the stove, so either add a fitting or it'll be cockeyed. :o
