Hello Everyone!!

I'm Ganga Prabhakar from Bangalore. So excited to be on Huky forum. I discovered this wonder machine through the forum, so thanks to you guys.

I've been working with coffee for the past few years both on farm (family farm) and quality coffee from experts in the field. My knowledge of roasting has always been in theory till I received my Huky.

Now I'm happy to get my hands on Huky.Though it has been quite a drill after receiving a damaged machine for the first time. All thanks to the Indian Postal services. But Mr Li has been of great help in sending the a new one almost immediately!

After a month of roasts, I'm still trying to get my act together with the machine and a few concerns with Center 301 temperature fluctuations, unable to connect to the software. Hope to get some help and also learn from most of you who have much knowledge about the machine.

Looking for more inspiration as always!

Maybe we can have a source for some great Indian beans. 

The temperature fluctuating should not happen on the meter display, only within the datalogging software. The software not reading the thermocouples usually is caused by; not downloading and installing the correct driver, using the correct cable interface, and setup inside the Artisan program.

So good to hear from you both Mr LTB and Mr Hankua!!

Hankua, thank you for the inputs. I had not ordered the USB driver with the center and the regular USB don't seem to have the direct access drive so I haven't got the software connected. But have found out that there is a center authorized dealer who can help procuring the relevant USB. Hopefully that would help.

Now I am using manual way of noting the temperatures and plotting the profile curve which has been quite fun! But I hope to get the software installed soon so that I concentrate on profile futher ans also help in gaining control over the roast. Thanks again for your help.

It would be so good if I could share some of the Indian beans to you! Would love to. We produce both Arabica from high elevation (4000ft-5000ft) as well as Robustas (3000- 3500) from two of our farms. 😃
