My 20th Roast - Ethiopian Washed Sidamo Werka - Medium / Dark
« on: September 28, 2016, 07:28:26 AM »
Alright, this is my 20th roast on the Huky, and my 20th Roast on something other than a Air Popper.

I was shooting for a medium / darker roast with this bean.
The smell is good of the coffee, and the taste is pretty decent too.
The bean after sitting for a few days showed a few signs of oil seeping out from the bean.

I dropped about 5 - 10 seconds into second crack.

Let me know your thoughts on the progress of my roasting skillz :) And any suggestions.

In the below Screenshot P = Power so P25 is 2.5 and F = Fan so F50 is 50v on my Variac

It's been two weeks since you roasted it.
How has the flavor changed?
Better?  Worse?

I started drinking it a day after roasting it. I went through all the coffee within a week (gave a little away also). It was decent tasting, but I can't remember now since I've now gone through two roasts of a Honduras Copan.
