Here's the Artisan chart for the Ethiopian I roasted.  Getting use to gas to control RoR.
Looks good, was that a washed or natural? 1/2lb batches can be somewhat tricky, but I'd stick with it until your satisfied and then try something larger.

Thanks, I didn't know what is optimum batch size.  Was using what I normally used with my HoTTop.  I've been noticing most are using larger sizes.  I need to read up more on the forum to know how to optimize roasting profiles for the Huky.

Not sure if washed or natural, but  attached is the bag and label.

Many of us here advice starting up with larger charges, like a full pound. Then you can work your way down from there. The roaster becomes more stable and you can work the controls (read: heat) more without the roast going crazy on you. Roasting 1/2 lb to 250g is really the lowest you can go while still getting (just about) reliable readings from the ThermoCouplers. At 250g the roaster is also (IMO) much more "nervous" and it's easy to overshoot with the heat and once it's too hot, all you're doing is slowing down the roast... What I'm getting at is that these lower charges are possible, but it's easier to do it with quality once you can control a larger charge.
Now, dare I roast even lighter?

That's probably washed. Sweet Maria's will use DP (for Dry Processed) in the name to indicate it is a natural.

It's wet processed, from SM notes on their website.   :)

Here's a picture of everything I received.  Mr. Li forgot the MET probe.

Just for clarity, you have a probe at MET, but in Artisan you are recording MET as ET.
You knew that, right?

I'm confused.  The pictured Huky has probes for ET and BT.  That's how I ran Artisan.  Mr. Li forgot to put in MET probe.  Just got MET probe this weekend.  I need to figure out how to change out the analog MET gauge with the MET probe.

You are confused, but it's not an uncommon confusion.

Your current probes are at BT and MET.  The analog thermometer is in the ET position.  You will screw that out and put in the thermocouple for ET.

This is what you need from Mr. Li to replace the analog thermometer

If you are using a Phidget, you have the wires from MET in the ET position, which is why Artisan is reporting it as ET.

P.S.  There are three different diagrams in the Gallery that might help

Oh great.  Mr. Li sent me a MET probe.  Is it different from the ET probe?

Thanks,
Stan

The probe itself is the same, but you will need the bushing to install in in the ET position.

Exactly.
Now you just want to unscrew the round analog thermometer and screw that in instead.  That will be your ET.

Susan, thank you very much!  I can't believe I did 30+ roasts thinking I was using ET and BT probes.  It also means I need to rework my Phiget.  But, I just ordered the kit to go all Phighet/wireless so I can use iPad Roastmaster program.

You are most welcome.
Just move the wires you thought were for ET to the left and put the new ones where they were.
