Pressure Gauge (Manometer) Treatment
« on: December 06, 2016, 06:39:46 PM »
Hi everyone!

My pressure gauge (manometer) has died, luckily I could get a new one straight away from Mr. Li.
Sadly, as I install the new one, it decided to die straight away as suddenly when I turn on my gas regulator, the pointer has go all the way around to the maximux kpa.
This probably cause by too much gas pressure get into the manometer. However if I did not turn the regulator up, there won't be enough gas to turn on the stove up.

Do you guys have any suggestion what sort of regulator I should buy so that I won't broke my pressure gauge again in the future? (I have tried a low pressure gauge but only could go up to 2.5KPA) FYI: I am in Indonesia.

And what is the maximum KPA that you guys use to roast? (I have read several post that never us more that 3.75 KPA)

Thanks!

There's some little things to watch out for, like adjusting the gas twice. Once with the stove knob off, second time on three flames.

Secondly you can install a small gate valve in the supply line and restrict the maximum flow.
