Cant download artisan on mac Getting error when i click it to open

hey guys

I downloaded the mac version of artisan and attempted to open it.  It says Artisan Error and i either get open console or terminate option. 

When i go to open console I get a lot of written script.  Can anyone help.  is there another program i can run to track my data?

Yeah I can make roast logger run. I've been playing with it. Seems artisan is a little more user friendly but I guess I'll have to make with what I got.

We can almost certainly get you going with Artisan if that's what you want, but you will have to give us more details as to what meter you are using (Phidget?  Amprobe?), and what you have tried so far.

It's not the meter it's just starting the program.  As I double click the artisan symbol it goes to say artisan error and it won't load.  I already downloaded the driver for the centre 301 so no clue what's up with artisan and the written code to start up on an apple

Since your issue is with Artisan and not with your HUKY, maybe you could ask it at the Artisan user forum

Hey susan

Thanks for the quick replies on this.  I wound up finding some of the older artisan version 0.9 and downloaded that one.  It loads and starts fine.  Clearly something in the 1.0 thats causing an issue or discrepancy with my mac.  EIther way problem is fixed until the 1.0 issue is ironed out….

Glad you are functional on Artisan one way or 'tother.  It is very useful, especially on this forum where most members are using it.

Still it might be a good thing to alert Marko (via that previous link maybe) so that he does attend to it if it is a bug.  And, if it's not, he will probably share with you how to use the newer version.
