Burner leak - fix or buy new stove?
« on: March 29, 2017, 11:33:22 AM »
Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my burner. I have the stock IR burner from Mr. Li and it seems to be leaking. I use this adapter

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00480BWA0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and I use the green coleman propane tanks (1lb).

When I attach the tank and try to light the stove, the pressure gauge reads 3KpA, while the control knob is turned off. The stove will light when the control knob is turned to 0.

I assume the stove is done for, so I am planning on purchasing a new one. Any recommendations?

How long have you been using this stove ?
Did it work for a while and suddenly stop?

You should probably email Mr. Li and ask him for his input.
That stove should last longer than that, and we haven't had many reports of its failures.
