Spreadsheet I use
« on: January 08, 2015, 05:40:41 PM »
I plan out roasts and checkpoints with this spreadsheet.

It's not intelligent in any way and needs to be modified based on the mass of the charge, the roast profile you want to create, drop tempp, etc.... but at least it gives me some steps to follow.  I like to have checklists.

I then take my Artisan graph and the final bean results and compare it to how the beans behaved and modify the sheet for the next roast.

Some of the comments at the bottom are notes that have been copied and pasted from HomeBarist users (Kfir being one)...

Here's one of the iterations.

Perhaps this might help someone.

And here are my most recent "directions to self", which I tend to change after each roast.

It's very helpful to see how others do this- thanks for the ideas. My way is the lazy way... as usual  :)
Note- the "vent on" at 8:00 refers to the range hood vent. I'm monitoring that to see how much it effects the RoR.
