ok, had me worried there for a second, I will try and mess around with them. The deltas being backwards would explain some stuff, ill dig around artisan and see if I can switch them back.

The attached photo shows where to swap the probes- from Config>>Device. At the top right there's a checkbox for "swap". Pretty sure that does the trick.

In Artisan 1.0 there is an option under the Roast tab (last one) to switch ET and BT.
However, I suspect that will just make his BT probe read out as ET and his ET probe read out as BT.

None of which helps, I know....

Thanks greg and susan, it does help as ive been watching the wrong delta this entire time. I clicked the swap buttons but am waiting on sweet marias for my next coffee shipment.  Will have to watch deltas to make sure it is swapped this time to the right position.

I hope it helps. You'll know pretty much right away during the warm up that it's working properly as the ET is approximately  10-15F higher during that process.

I hope OP doesn't mind the side discussion, if so, I'll be happy to create a new topic.

@Gregr: Sorry but that answered the wrong side of my question.  I am trying to understand how your power settings are represented on the graph.  What y-axis value are you using for 0%, 25%, ... 100% power?  Your graph does not seem to match up with any scale on the graph, unless I am just too dense to see it.

Sorry- I misunderstood the question. As far as I can tell there's no scale down there, no way to add a scale- it's just kinda sitting there in limbo.

So how do you know what power % the graphic is representing?

You can download the .alog file and open it on your computer- that should show you all the numbers. Or ask- I've got notes on all my roasts.

Again, sorry for not being more clear.  The .png image of your roast you posted on May 14th has a graphic(dare I say curve) in blue with square endpoints to represent the power, and a graphic in grey with diamond endpoints.  I downloaded the .alog and I can see the actual values using Artisan, but I am trying to understand how I would read these values from looking at the .png graph image.

Ahh- finally I get it... sometimes it takes me a while.
As far as I know there is no way. But there are others here who know a lot more about Artisan than I do. There could well be a way to set Artisan up so that those values appear in the png file but I don't know how.
Anybody?
