The hand crank espresso machine makes incredible shots.  Portaspresso Rossa HC-P with bottomless portafilter.  Portable and great if you don't want to wait for the big machine to warm up.

This thing looks awesome. Right now I use a ROK, but I wouldn't mind having one of these things in my collection.

Here is my set-up. I have it in my heated shop. Everything is on a stainless steel cart I ordered from Amazon. It has a shelf below and wheels. It works out great.

Huky in garage on cart.  Carts on wheels with propane tank upder some countertop I had hanging around.

What type of material is the cart top?

I'm interested in heat generation to the counter surface as I'm deciding what type of cart to get.  The one you have looks like a heavy duty plastic composite of some sort.... any heat issues from the ir stove or vent bowl/exhast?

It's an piece of kitchen countertop.  Super old, used it in my photo darkroom.  Looks like particleboard with some kind of plastic surface.  Sorry, not very helpful.  I have the stock IR burner which doesn't seem to send much, if any heat down to the countertop.  I get some discoloring from the chaff fan blasting hot air down onto the counter, but it cleans up easily.  Don't have any ducting on the fan to carry the smoke away.

My countertop sits on a generic service cart with wheels, where the propane tank and electrical wires sit.  The counter to IS quite heavy which keeps things stable.

Hah! Extremely much better :)
That steel cart setup is outstanding. Now it's time to dirty it up with flying chaff!

Is that a 2nd Huky? :D

I dig the stainless steel cart idea. I might have to borrow your idea at some point.

Nah, she's not here yet.

Mr Li contacted me and suggested I wait 3-4 weeks until the new configuration is ready, and since I already have this one I managed to curb my usual impatience and agreed to wait....

I like my kitchen, but that one is much nicer.  The only thing in that picture that is mine is the wooden thermometer box.  We've combined funds/forces for the HUKY, the setting belongs to my roasting partner.

All set up on a 4' rolling Stainless steel table.  I usually roast outside but have exhaust tubing in case I need to go indoors and vent out.
