I'm the proud owner of Huky #627. I put her together and no issues with T seating. Off to work, pics probably on Sunday.

Congrats to you.  I just got notice that mine shipped today.  Glad to hear you had no trouble seating the T.

So my Huky jumped from "pre-shipment" in Taiwan on 4/19 to being "out for delivery" in my town this morning!  That was the only change of status since I received the ship confirm from Mr. Li.

Can anyone verify if signature is required for this?  I was going to plan to take PTO on the day it was going to be delivered, but I didn't really have a chance; talk about having a good problem.....

To answer your question, mine was NOT left because no one was here to sign for it.

The only updates on my shipping status were after the fact that it arrived yesterday and it was out for delivery yesterday.

Of course, had I arrived home a few minutes sooner yesterday, I would've caught the mail man.  Went to the PO just before closing last night hoping to pick it up, but was told to return today.

Time never passes quick enough when there are new toys waiting for you. :) That will change though... You'll find yourself being totally stressed out during the first couple of roasts, being late with everything and forgetting all kind of things. :)
Now, dare I roast even lighter?

Thanks for the reply....  I did just call my local post office and he said if I'm not there to sign then I can wait at the PO for the truck to come back at 4pm.  I won't put x-mas day on hold if I can help it...

Ain't that the truth-  Well I have 20lbs of "lower quality" beans ready to roast....

If I mess up at the beginning, I figure those roasts will be suitable for my friends who love Starbucks, or the instant coffee folks.

Every time I have botched a roast, I simply say, "I was just seasoning the drum." *cough cough*

Just wanted to post a quick update that I did indeed receive my Huky 500T today, so in total:

April 6th: order placed, paid Mr. Li via paypal
April 7th: payment confirmation from Mr. Li
April 18th: ship notification from Mr. Li
April 22nd:  Huky delivered via USPS to PA

**Fast forward to when I slap my forehead after I unpack the box and lay out all the parts and equipment**

I'll give you a hint:  my next post tonight will be in the GOT/NEED and extra part thread...
