I did two 1 pound roasts today. Both beans from Sweet Marias. Moka Kadir and a Colombian. I wish I had never heard of the flick.

How is that Moka Kadir?  I roasted some in my Behmor over a year ago and really liked it.  I bet it's great out of the Huky.

Just finished roasting a blend using a Nicaragua from Curtis as the base along with equal amounts of Ethiopia Hambela and Burundi Heza Hill. I'm hoping for strawberries and chocolate with a little orange cream mixed in.

That looks to be a textbook perfect profile.  Minimal adjustments, descending nicely and no dip or flick.  That's gotta be good.  Well done.

I just fired up the gas to preheat the HUKY.  The little sightglass window fogged up.  I had not noticed that before.  As soon as I turned on the fan, it cleared. Why would the cool roaster cause condensation at first?  Roasting very soon: 1 batch Acetenango Gesha to share with a friend I will visit in a few days.

That occurs for me every time I fire it up.  I haven't given it much thought and just crank the fan up to 100% until the window clears.  I'm in northern California with a fairly dry climate so humidity shouldn't an issue.  Condensation?

Water is a byproduct of burning propane.   If you have a propane oven you can see the same thing sometimes.. Or, you can feel it when you first turn on the oven.  This is why I prefer to cook in a gas oven.it's a bit more moist heat..
