One question, how have you guys setup your cooling tray. It seems to not fit under the drum door.
When I lift up the stove a bit, the exhaust bowl hits the needle valve dial.
When I turn the stove 90 degrees, the gas hose gets in the way of the roast air exhaust.

Input welcome.

I had the same problem and I found the Huky to not be level.  I put a small piece of wood across the front of the Huky to level it and now the cooling tray slides up to the door without any issues.  The bowl does hit the needle valve if you don't turn it slightly to keep the legs from hitting it.

Not the final setup, but it works for now.
I am working on a switchplate on the front to turn the fans and motor on/off.
I'm not sold on the Variac quite yet, we'll see.

Okay all you guys inspire me and I want to post my setup here but it's a work in process.  Therefore I thought I would start a separate thread to show my steps and progress as I work through it. Once I start the thread, I'll come back here and insert a link to My Huky Cart Build.

I hope to start learning how to use my Huky this weekend. I purchased a few pounds of some Mexican Bean from a locale Roaster/Distributor.  To be honest, I'm not sure where to start. :-[  And at the same time, I'm excited to give it a stab.
Cheers,

Finally able to share my setup with the group. Finished a room in the basement  about 5.5' x 8'. Now everything is in one place. Makes it easier to focus on the roast.

How did you get your chaff funnel to hove like that?

The chaff tray is upside down. Seems to work for me and easier to brush of the chaff between roasts.

Awesome looking setup!  I saw you roast commercially, do you have a sink setup in your roast house?  Love all of these setups.  I am anxiously awaiting the finishing piece to mine.

Thankfully in my parish I haven't had to adhere to any of those rules. Things are extremely laxed here. Just 35 miles done the road KodyLa is having way more trouble than myself in a different parish.
