Just got a new gauge for the HUKY

Although the printing on it could be larger, at least I like that the settings I am using on the HUKY take up the whole gauge instead of the small bit on the oem gauge.

As I noted in my original posting... the screw threads are pretty close. I think one is tapered , the other is straight/standard.

It will fit.  5-layers of teflon tape and tighten until snug.  test with soapy water for any leaks.

She's on.  No leaks.
As you can see I used yellow/gas teflon tape instead of the white.

I think I still need to take the clear plastic off and re-mark the face  ???

So now I've re-configured the dial for myself.

I am looking into getting this gauge. What is the max you would ever expect to run the gas pressure at in H2O?

Should I get 0-10 H20 or maybe this one 0-15 H20?

Thank you so much!

P.S. As I continue to wait for my Huky, how long is too long? It's been 22 days since shipment and still no sign.

0-10 H20 isn't going to be enough.
As you can see on this gauge which goes to 3.75 kPa, that is the same as 15 H20.
I regularly take the gas to 3.5 kPa;  never any higher though.

That must depend on the burner used.  I have a Bayou Classic (similar to Cajun Cooker) my gauge goes to 10 in H2O and I never exceed 2 inches pressure with 450 gram loads.

Ah, good point.

But of course that that made me nervous, so I looked up the conversion of kPa to water inches, and the formula I found is that 1 kPa = 4.01 inches water.

So, the information I gave you is correct IF you are using the propane version of Mr. Li's IR stove.

If you don't mind my asking, where did you get the gauge?  My stock one is not working and I'd like to replace it with this.

There is a document in the download section called Aftermarket Stuff that gives a link to the source.  I always forget where it came from, so now it is hardwired into the forum.
