What else should I gather before Huky delivery?

Hi everyone,

My Huky is on its way, but I want to make sure I have everything needed before it gets here so I can get roasting. I ordered the Huky with solid drum, faster motor, IR burner, extra fan, extra tray, Center 304, and all 3 probes (ET, MET, BT). I'm going to be using Artisan on my Macbook Air. I went to my local Menards (hardware store) and purchased a dimmer for the roasting fan. My question is, what else would you all recommend I have on hand? Anything I'm over looking that maybe isn't absolutely necessary, but nice to have?

Oh shoot, didn't realize there was already a thread about this. Some good recommendations in there! An ove-glove is an awesome idea. I've already got a small 1 gal shop vac, scale, flashlight, and wooden spoon....so I think I'm pretty well covered!

Ventilation plan for the roaster. One lb'rs can put out a lot of smoke.

I plan to roast in my garage with a wall thimble to pass through. Should work I think.

Ha ha, good point! Sounds like we've got a pretty good sized group of people that are new to the Huky, so should be fun around here!

Add new fire extinguisher to the list, if it's old. Wife insists on a new one before I can burn in Huky...I don't recall when I got the one I have, but it is clearly over 25 years old. :)
