You were right--the stock gauge wasn't calibrated properly! Regardless, I swapped it out for a Dwyer 3.75 and so far so good. My first 3 roasts were too dark for my liking, but I was able to get light enough on my 4th try. My curve isn't very Rao looking, but it still tastes pretty good despite that.

I tried to follow some of the guides around here, but it's not producing as light of roasts as I'd like. Based on your signature, do you have your process documented somewhere?

I am using the stock propane regulator, what do you mean by "taking down the gas tank pressure"?

It's best to post a graph or a written profile; along with the roast level you're looking to achieve. Ultra-light Nortic style's are the most difficult and challenging to manage.
