Title: Phidget 1048 Temperature() [Error 126]
Post by: erm0304 on November 14, 2016, 03:49:06 PM
I am trying to set up artisan 0.9.9 and am getting the following error after following the installation guidance:  "The specified module could not be found @line 29087".  Also ET, BT, and MET are all showing -1. Thank you in advance.

Pictures of your Configuration pages would help.

What other configurations would be helpful to see?

Okay, those first two look fine, and obviously the third is what we are trying to figure out.

Run through the Phidgets download just to be sure you have covered all the bases there, especially whether you wired the Phidget up right (right to left instead of left to right) and did whatever (I can't remember) Phidget told you to do to  install it and close down the Phidget control panel....

Right....I'm fishing, but I'm hoping we can catch something....

From the Phidget download you can run a test and it will let you know if it's connected.  I would try that first and then move on to Artisan.

Uninstalled Fidget download and reinstalled.  It works fine now.  Thank you for the help.

Anyone else have this issue since this thread was updated? I have the same error on a fresh install. Because I'm using a work laptop, it involves lots of favors and schmoozing to get IT to authorize non-work-related software. Hoping for an alternate solution here that doesn't involve buying my own laptop :-)

Thanks guys, sorry for surfacing an old thread.

-Chris

What version of the Phidget libraries did you install?

Yes, that would be v22. Just completed a test install of v21 on my desktop and everything works fine. Now to convince the IT manager to install v21 on my laptop for me ...
