Artisan BT/ET Displaying -1
« on: December 30, 2016, 04:04:27 PM »
First time setting up the Huky. On a mac. Have phidgets installed and confirmed that the temp sensors are works per the debugging literature on the phidgets website. I have also configured the device on Artisan for the 1048, added MET probe.

But, when I start a roast the LCD values all displat -1.0 and nothing graphs.

Feel like I am missing something simple, but have gone through all of the downloadable docs and coming up empty.

What that '-1' means is that Artisan has sent out a request for information and come back empty.  So...something is not connected.

First thing I'd check is that your wires for ET and BT are in the correct Phidget terminals.

Do you get an error message to the top left as you see -1 values?

Thanks guys. No error message and since the program wouldn't even run, but the Phidgets plugin was showing that it was receiving data from the probes, I thought there had to be a larger issue. I uninstalled Artisan and reinstalled and ta-da LCDs diplaying and graphs graphing. Now time to season the drum. Thanks for your help!
