I stole this link from one posted at HB this morning.  I thought it was particularly interesting

Great share Susan. I especially appreciate the actionable tips at the end. I just watched a video of Rob Hoos in which he explains that tipping is directly caused by convection heat so its interesting to hear this author say otherwise.

Does anyone else on here use an App called Flipboard?  It basically gathers together lots of internet articles, webpages, pictures etc. about a given subject and adds new ones as they are published.  There is a category on there called 'Home Coffee Roasting' by Hank Levine that has loads of interesting stuff on it if you're happy to flip through it all.   You might all already be aware of it but Just thought I'd mention it!

Is tipping a problem with Huky roasters? I have a perforated drum and have never experienced tipping. Is this a solid drum problem?

I don't think I've heard/read any reports of tipping or scorching from perforated drum users, and I've never seen it.
I have always thought it was a solid drum issue -- the solid drum holding more heat than the leaky one.
But that is pure speculation on my part
