You're very welcome.
We have an enormous amount of information logged into/onto this forum by now, but finding it when we want/need it can be daunting.

I'm buying one too but I noticed that buying from Dwyer will incur a $17 minimum order charge putting the total with shipping to $60.  Amazon has the gauge for $33 plus $8 shipping.  The Dwyer part number matches but the Amazon picture of the gauge differs on the readings.  Hope it's apples and apples.

Duh, and that's probably why I ordered one for me and one for Greg at the same time....to avoid the shipping charge.

I saw that today.  I'm struggling with the cost (not can't pay just don't want to) from the other place.  Did you order from Amazon?

Yes, I just pulled the trigger.  Even if it's wrong Amazon's return policy is about the best.

I am also looking for replacement gauge and saw Dwyer LPG5, that is a little cheaper. It has 3% accuracy (not 1.5% as LPG4), but IMO it is not critical.

My preference for the LPG5 is that the range is almost identical to the range of kPa that I use when roasting.  The gauge that came on the stove worked just fine but went all the way up to 7.5 kPa, which meant that half of the gauge was not useful at all, and the increments were tiny.
The LPG4 goes up to 5 kPa, which still leaves about 30% of the dial unused.
The LPG5 only goes to 3.75 kPa, so its entire range is useful.

Is it possible to ask Mr Li to include the new gauge since it is a significant improvement?

Apoligies for the off topic, but I didn't think my question warranted a new thread...

Can someone remind me that the IR burner is rated at?

For some reason, this just caught my attention. I have a gauge that reads only 0-15 in inches of H2O. I rarely exceed 4" which equates to 1kPa. Now while I have a concept of the IR burner, what I'm having a hard time grasping is what would happen if I were to apply 3.5kPa to my unit. I'd likely wind up with some manner of Coffee Popcorn! (BTW, I'm already in the process of trademarking that, so back off!  ;D)

Can someone else who utilizes an atmospheric burner weigh in on the ranges that you utilize?
