Hey gang, I'm Matt
« on: January 26, 2015, 10:06:39 AM »
Hey everyone,

My name is Matt. I've been roasting on a TO/TC for a couple years. Recently I've decided I would like to start roasting for sale at farmers markets and via the web, with the chance that maybe some day I can make it my career. I ordered my Huky about 1.5 weeks ago, so don't have it yet. If any of you roast commercially, I'd love to talk shop with ya. I have a career in IT currently, so I'm not in a huge hurry to make it blow up, but its something I want to start small with and slowly but steadily work toward. I'm looking forward to being a part of the community!

Here's my current rig the day I finished building it. Its much dirtier now. I cant wait to get the Huky, but this roaster will always be special to me. Many lbs have been through it!

Hi Matt- welcome  :)
I don't sell me coffee but from what I've read the Huky is an excellent stepping stone towards a professional roaster.

I'm hoping so! Thanks for the welcome!

I have. That's actually what made me decide for sure to go with the Huky. I'm gonne have to run this little bugger into the ground to keep up if I get any sort of client base.....but it sounds like its up to the task.
