Jeff. Introducing Huky Number....?
« on: February 02, 2015, 03:06:06 PM »
Good Morning Huky Forum,

Yo soy Jeff.  Long time homebrewer, short time kombucha brewer (just went to 5 gallon  batches), first time coffee roaster and lifetime fan of all things culinary. As with my co-Huky-owner Austen (GeoGeek) my only roasting experience has been in an oven, his.  Our Huky is through customs and should be here in Colorado this week! Huky number....???

Our first beans are sourced from Acatenango Valley in Guatemala which is a particularly vulcanous region with many thanks to the active Volcan del Fuego.  However... until Huky operations are normalized we may scorch up some Sweet Maria's orders until we are ready to try our hand with the premium stuff.

I have already learned a great deal from this wonderful forum so many thanks to everybody here!  Now off to Amazon to score myself a Bonavita Gooseneck Kettle.

Thanks all!  Huky has arrived! #571!

No roasts yet.  Geogeek and I are going to get everything set up this weekend.
