McMaster-Carr also has pretty much everything you could every want in terms of machine equipment.  Free same day delivery if you get the order in early enough.  Or you can go to their warehouse and pick up.

Washer came in today and it looks just right, expecting my grease on Wednesday (I hope it's adequate). Hopefully everything works as planned and I'll be roasting this weekend.

Hey, if it works, it works! Am I correct to assume that you just needed to stabilize the drum? Your solution looks like it would solve that problem, not the primary issue I have of the drum being too close to the faceplate.

After I re-read the thread I realized you have a different problem than I did.  I had beans falling thu to the burner, so I had to move the drum closer to the front of the roaster.  Mr. Li sent me a similar graphic shown earlier in the thread and I opted not to solve the problem with a hammer.  Since shimming the drum closer to the front plate no beans have dropped thru.  Sorry for not reading the entire thread.  :)

Boogity:  I'm currently having the issue of beans falling through to the burner. A quick look under the drum shows a gap between the front of the drum and the front of the roaster, large enough for an average sized bean to drop through.  I looked at your picture, seems simple enough, but just wondering if you had any tips before I try to move the drum closer to the face-plate.
