So just wanting to know whether anyone else has done the T mod or ordered the T with no dampers and how that turned out. I am considering moving to the T as the distance from the Huky to the chaff collector has almost no clearance at 7 1/2".

Also could you let me know what the distance is pipe to pipe for T version.

As well I understand there are 2 options when modifying
  • either cut short the current pipe  coming out of the roast chamber
  • order new plate and pipe
    • Any comments on the cutting the pipe option would be appreciated
