Artisan
« on: January 04, 2016, 06:34:33 PM »
Hello all,

I just ordered my phidget 1048 and was downloading Artisan to my older mac.  Any one using artisan with OS X 10.5.8?  I doesnt seem to work with anything older that 10.6.  Also, if that is true does anybody know where to download 10.6 or higher?

Okay, I don't use a Mac and know close to nothing about them, but a Google search on Mac OS 10.6 brought this up:
http://snow-leopard.en.softonic.com/mac

Is that what you need?

Thank you for the fast response!!  That will not work, that update requires 10.6 already installed.  Thank you very much though.  I have an old mac that I want to use, trying to find out how to get it up to speed.

I decided yesterday to switch from my PC to my MacBook Pro and dedicate it to Artisan.  I found out that Artisan now requires OS X 10.7 (Lion) or greater.  I was running 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) which will not run Artisan.  I confirmed that this morning with Marko so if I have any issues after upgrading to 10.7 I'll let you know.  My MacBook Pro is a Mid 2007 btw.
