Hello from Arizona

A week ago I wouldn't have expected to be here. But I saw a used Huky and all my will power melted away as I clicked "Buy It Now!"

I've been roasting for 7 years now: Whirlypop, Behmor, Hottop, and now Huky 500. I just finished my first roast on the Huky--a pound of SM Espresso Monkey. Suddenly I have a lot to learn again. I think a lot of green coffee is going to turn brown this weekend.

The information here is simply amazing. Thank you to the admins and to everyone who contributes here.

Welcome- glad you found the info here helpful.
I didn't start with a Whirlypop but the other roasters are what I had before the Huky too. Here's an analogy- it's like going from putting your food in a microwave to cooking a gourmet dinner. Yeah, that's a good one
