Replace AC Adapter
« on: November 26, 2016, 04:46:48 PM »
Hi, I searched forum and could not find.  Can anyone guide me in how to replace the ac adapter?  I am not technically oriented and my adapter got drenched in water and no longer works.

Are you talking about the transformer for the motor? In that case it converts your current to 24V DC (which is the correct voltage for the motor). Check the label on the bottom of that black "brick" for the "mA" (milliAmpere) value. Replacement ones should be easy to find, as they are common for e.g. charging laptop batteries or powering inkjet printers. Just see to that you get a brick that gives about the same or higher mA than the one that took a dive.
Now, dare I roast even lighter?
