Price list for the Huky parts
« on: January 02, 2017, 09:02:40 AM »
Hello,

I want to order some additonal parts and I know I saw here somewhere a price overview.

But currently I have been searching for several days  :( and the posts I found by the search contained old links, which are no longer valid.

( The list I have in mind even contained bearings and lubricant (for free) )

Thanks in advance
peter

Look in Resources > Before you Buy.

Oops.  Bearings are not included in that list, but they are cheap and an email to Mr. Li will answer your questions.

You might find the answer in posts if you use the search:  ceramic bearings.  I think I found some satisfaction that way recently....

I ordered spare bearings, which came in at $42 (+ shipping) if memory serves me... (which it didn't. See below. :) ) OTOH, they are still lying around in their box as the original bearings are of good quality and perform excellent with regular service and re-greasing.

I just got a response to my query to Mr. Li.
He states that the cost of the bearings is $18.00 and
shipping to USA is $6.00.

In addition he gave me a link to the bearing as it is available from Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/688-Full-Ceramic-Bearing-8x16x4/dp/B002BBF48Y/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1483409523&sr=8-4&keywords=688+full+ceramic+bearing

Definitely makes sense to buy it from Mr. Li  ;D

Unless of course this is usable instead of the one he linked me to:
https://www.amazon.com/Generic-Full-Ceramic-Ball-Bearing/dp/B015RKQ3OO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1483409523&sr=8-5&keywords=688+full+ceramic+bearing

First, thanks for the hint where to find the list.
Second, I also got my answer from Mr. Li and can confirm the 18 USD for a ceramic bearing.
Third, a rubber foot is 1 USD each. Plus some shipment fee  ::)

I can confirm the quality of the bearings. While doing some handicraft work on the Huky these days I saw the ceramic balls in the bearing and it came to my mind that they never got some lubricant.

btw: the lubricant is for free from Mr. Li.

Good and Thank You.

I added the rubber foot pricing to the Pricelist and also changed the name of that document in Resources to Pricing and FAQs.  Maybe that will make it a more obvious choice ???  We will see.
