Brand new and super excited!
« on: February 15, 2016, 05:40:12 PM »
Hello All,

The Huky 500T is ordered and I feel like I might die standing out at the road waiting for it to arrive. I will be on the forum asking questions like crazy so I thank you in advance for all of your help. I have taken my passion for the perfect cup to the next level by getting into roasting and experiencing the process from beginning to end. I'm a high school music teacher and I would love to see this roaster venture lead into a summer full time job. I'm passionate about this craft and I'm a quick learner. Beyond excited!

Welcome 1031Coffee!
"More than half of the accident-involved motorcycle riders had less than 5 months experience on the accident motorcycle, although the total street riding experience was almost 3 years. Motorcycle riders with dirt bike experience are significantly underrepresented in the accident data" -Hurt Report

Glad to have you aboard.
Stock your freezer with enough roasted coffee that you love so that  you are not dependent on your own roasts until they please you.

There is a learning curve.  Be nice to yourself during that period.
Buy your very favorite beans :-))))

So how long once the roaster is shipped should I plan on waiting? The Lunar New Year Festival threw a week extra into my waiting period  :-\
It is finally on its way :)
