I live in the Pacific Northwest where coffee is as big as microbrews!  I came at roasting through enjoying my coffee - mainly espresso so much that it was frustrating when I received inconsistencies from my local coffee shops.  As my wife and I enjoyed our coffee together we decided to invest in a nice espresso machine so that we could enjoy our coffee at home.  That economic decision lead to roasting my own beans stovetop. Although that yielded a decent product I knew that it could be much better.  Initially I looked at the Quest but that lead me to the Huky. In my research I saw that people had moved up from various machines to the Huky or Quest so I thought, why waste time  .  Very happy with the results in the short time I've had it and have been an avid reader of everyone's post's on this forum.

Glad you made it over here Ted...I've learned a lot here in a short time..It's nice having a collective group of people using mainly the same equipment.
