The five ways to taste coffee
« on: March 12, 2016, 12:55:00 PM »
I provide roasted beans to a few friends, and I noticed my tasting descriptions weren't always very helpful to them. And when they liked something, or disliked it, it was hard for them to describe why. I realize it's actually pretty confusing to talk about acid or body - many people don't even think about that when drinking coffee.

So I wrote a post to describe the 5 main aspects of coffee flavours. I thought some here might find it useful - also feedback is always appreciated. Maybe I missed something, or could have described something a bit better?

Great write up for the coffee lover vs the overly complicated description for the enthusiast that is hard to describe to the every day consumer.
Thanks

Great read! Thanks. I will forward this on to some of my friends who consume coffee from my HUKY.
